TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS

  1. Richard Goode Aerobatics ("RGA") sells new and used Sukhoi and Yakevlov aircraft, spares and provides maintenance and repairs. The terms under which this business is undertaken are:
  2. Aircraft Sales & Guarantee
    1. Typically our aircraft come from Eastern Europe and are sold prior to overhaul. In these circumstances RGA will give estimates of delivery in good faith but cannot be responsible for any loss due to late delivery of aircraft. If however aircraft are significantly later than the time RGA have indicated, RGA may, at its discretion, pay interest on deposits held for this extra period.
    2. The duration and terms of any guarantee on aircraft sold will be specified in the formal documentation between RGA and the purchaser.
    3. For any guarantee claim to be made against RGA, the aircraft must be delivered to our premises at White Waltham Airfield. Clearly there will be cases where this is impractical, and at that stage we will attempt to come to an acceptable alternative with the customer involved.
    4. This guarantee is subject to the calendar time/hours limitation specified by RGA and will provide for the replacement/overhaul of any part that has failed, except where this failure has been caused by pilot error of whatever sort or normal wear and tear.
    5. If aircraft are returned to RGA, RGA will usually also change the item free of charge.
    6. If aircraft are not returned to RGA, the guarantee will normally only cover the supply of the replacement part/component, or the overhaul of the failed part/component, including carriage, but not the labour to install it
    7. If RGA are required to send a part/component to replace a defective one, RGA will usually pay for carriage of the new part/component, and the return to RGA of the failed part/component.
    8. Where aircraft are returned to RGA to resolve problems under guarantee, RGA is not responsible in anyway for the costs of returning the aircraft to RGA at White Waltham.
    9. Prior to delivery of an aircraft the customer may undertake whatever checks they would like to confirm that the aircraft is in acceptable condition and subsequent to that, payment to RGA is due, in full, before the aircraft is formally delivered. Once delivery has occurred then the guarantee (above) applies for any defects.
